Your health data is deeply personal. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and — most importantly — what we never do with it.
The short version: LifeCompanion stores everything on your device. We do not have servers that hold your health data. We do not sell, share, or analyse your personal information. The only external calls the app makes are to fetch local weather (no personal data attached) and to calculate prayer times by region.
LifeCompanion is a mobile application designed to help individuals track their health habits, wellbeing practices, and daily routines. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the LifeCompanion development team. References to "you" or "your" refer to the individual using the application.
This Privacy Policy applies to the LifeCompanion mobile application available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
LifeCompanion collects the minimum information necessary to provide its features. All health-related data you enter is stored exclusively on your device.

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, payment information, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any identifier that links data to you personally.
All personal and health data entered into LifeCompanion is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This database is private to the application — other apps cannot access it, and it is not uploaded to any cloud service or external server by LifeCompanion.
If you use iCloud backup (iOS) or Google backup (Android), your device's built-in backup service may include the app's local database in its backup. This backup is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy respectively, not ours. You can exclude the app from device backups in your phone's settings.
We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that holds your data.

LifeCompanion contains no advertisements. We do not allow third-party advertisers to access any information about you.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection regulations, the rights above align with the access, erasure, and restriction rights provided under those frameworks. Because we hold no personal data on our own servers, most requests are satisfied by managing your own device.
LifeCompanion is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under these ages. The app is designed for adults who wish to manage their personal health habits.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has entered personal data into the app, you can remove all data by uninstalling the application from the device.
Your data is retained on your device for as long as the application is installed. When you uninstall LifeCompanion, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device. We retain no copies of this data.
Weather API responses are not cached beyond the current session and are not stored persistently.
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be communicated through an in-app notice on first launch after the update.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
